Summary: I can highly recommend the house and the super friendly welcome by the owners. The house is cosy and very well equipped. The bed is big and very comfortable, the spacious kitchen has everything you need, the bathroom is modern. Everything is well kept and very clean. The house is situated in a paradisiacal, well-kept garden with fruit trees, vegetable garden, a chicken coop and a garden pond fed by a stream. We were allowed to harvest fruit and vegetables. From the beautiful covered terrace you have a fantastic view into the valley. The care by the owners was unique. Many thanks for that!

Summary: We had a fantastic holiday. Fatima was very welcoming - and thank you for the wine - it was our first taste of the vinha verde from the region. The accommodation was perfect. The gardens were lovely - very very pretty with great views from the property. We loved being able to pick and eat the fresh produce grown in the garden - tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, courgettes. The area is very pretty - lots of hills and river valleys and lots of things to do within an easy drive of the property. A lovely place to relax. Thank you Fatima.

Summary: Informeer goed naar de juiste positie als je gsm gebruikt. Je kunt vastlopen. Ga naar Gondufe en dan verder. Ontvangst prima, leuke mensen. Fatima is bijzonder vriendelijk. Wij konden naast kruide peultjes e uien oogsten. Fatima kookt goed. Een keer bestellen.

Summary: Als je alle eerdere (meestal uitermate positieve) beoordelingen voor deze woning ziet, denk je dat dit overtrokken moet zijn (we hebben een leven aan ervaring in het huren van vakantiewoningen). Niets is echter minder waar. Als we het cijfer 11 hadden kunnen geven dan hadden we dat gedaan. Deze ervaring (4 weken) heeft alles wat we in 35 jaar hebben ervaren overtroffen. Dit wat betreft de knusheid van de woning, de ruime tuin (met o.a. citroen- en sinaasappelbomen, kruiden- en groentetuin, vijver), de open haard (vroege voorjaar), de rust, de hartelijkheid van de Portugese bevolking. En zeker niet in het minste de ongekende gastvrijheid en alertheid van Fatima en Juan. Zoveel warmte houd je niet voor mogelijk. Iets wat we ook hebben mogen ervaren met hun vier kinderen. Met hen als voorbeeld voor de Portugese jongeren, welke immers de toekomst vormen, heeft Portugal een mooi perspectief!!! En als je typisch Portugees wilt eten, schroom dan niet gebruik te maken van Fatima's kookkunsten (er is een menukaart in de woning aanwezig met de gerechten die je kunt betstellen). Wellicht reden dat de keuken van het huisje werkelijk van alle kookgemakken is voorzien. Zo compleet heb ik dit (ben zelf kookfanaat) nog niet meegemaakt. Het was gewoon helemaal af. Tot slot is het nog vermeldenswaard dat er niets was dat we als minder goed zouden kunnen kwalificeren. Juist in tegendeel. Buiten wat we al hebben beschreven, werden we ook nog verrast met verse eieren, mandarijnen, aardappels en uien. Ook de manier waarop werd voorzien in handdoeken, beddengoed en hout voor de open haard was ongekend. Een vakantie hier verrijkt je leven!

Summary: Our Landlady, Fatima, would prepare and deliver any of the meals listed on the menu kept in the house. We had two, fish and chicken and they were delicious. A basket of essentials, milk, eggs vegetables etc were waiting for us in the kitchen, free of charge. Fatima and her son Felip were very friendly and welcoming. A lot of new roads have been built in this part of North Portugal and the absence of maps made driving very difficult.
