Comfortable / quiet accommodation for active holidays in Finistère.
The country house is part of a 19th century agricultural estate, which was renovated a few years ago and equipped with modern comfort while retaining the old characteristics of the building (natural stone walls, fireplace, ceiling with visible beams). Around the house, a cultivated garden with old trees and ortensias offers many corners of rest and play as well as absolute privacy (unique: earthen wall and castle door). The house is designed with a modern American kitchen with central island, fireplace area: on the left a large dining room and living room with billiard area, which leads through a French window to the first outdoor terrace. To the right of the kitchen is a winter garden and another terrace. Everything is flooded with light, the transitions to the garden are fluid. In order to offer privacy to the large family but also up to 3 couples, the 3 bedrooms are separated from each other. The same goes for the layout of the two shower rooms (each with a toilet) in the house, one on the ground floor and the other on the upper floor. Many parking spaces on the property.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay. We had everything we needed in the house and it was in a fabulous location. Beaches nearby were perfect for the family. Pascal is such a warm, kind, hospitable host and made us feel so welcome. We would love to stay afain next year.

Summary: This place does not need long description, it was just perfect for us (4) and would be fine even for a bigger group. The garden is ideal and safe for kids and the house offers a large choice of rooms. Everything very clean and a nice landlord (Pascal) allways friendly and helpfull ! Beautifull beach nearby. It will be not our last holiday there !

Summary: We had a fantastic stay in this farm house. Our host, Pascal, was welcoming. He made himself available during the length of our staff. The property is true to the photos. Prior to renting, I would ask if they've added a light to the entrance. As you can see in the photos, there is a sort of tunnel to get to the main door. When we were there, there were no outside light, which meant getting through this tunnel in complete darkness. This was challenging with young children. We also had an accident with a guest who misjudged the steps in the dark and injured herself quite severely. If a light hasn't been installed, I'd recommend bringing a flash light. Also for North American parents travelling with young children, as we typically have certain expectations as far as child proofing, the two sets of stairs leading to the upstairs bedrooms are quite steep.

Summary: lovely spot. House is spacious and well equipped. Town/village is about 20mins drive...plenty to do short spin from property Pascal the owner lovely man ..couldn't be more helpful...could do with bigger towels for showers ...the owner has a dog I am sure he's all bark and no bite but I didn't chance finding out!!!
