Summary: Great location, just a short 3 km drive from Oberstdorf. Our hosts, Elke and Michael were super friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much. Fresh bread rolls daily. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Special thanks for the home remedy for a persistent asthma cough, it was a real life saver! The Gaestekarte was great and let us use the numerous cable cars in the area for free. We loved every minute in this beautiful part of Germany and the opportunity for activities and day trips are endless (King’s Castles, Lake Constance, Kleinwalsertal, Lichtenstein, Bregenz etc) Definitely recommend 3 Birken in Kornau and would love to return some time. Great value for money
