1 Bedroom House in Paluxy, Granbury

This non-smoking home (smoking outside is permitted) was built in 2005 and is surrounded by beautiful country property and not on a main road. It has paved driveway from the road. Its very clean with laminate floors, new smart tv, ironing board, iron, new washer and dryer. Central Air Conditioner and Heating. This 1 bedroom has a New king bed and blackout curtain . double sleeper couch in living room. dinning table that can seat 4, 2 new chairs and Extra folding chairs in closet. bathroom with shower/tub, towels , shampoo hair dryer, ect.. regular coffee maker, full kitchen, dishes, pots, pans rice cooker, with refrigerator. and stove/oven.
It has a cute front porch to hang out on the rocking chair and listen to the birds and drink coffee. If weather is severe wifi and smart TV might not work, but we do have a lot of dvds in the guesthouse. It is minutes to the Granbury square or Glen Rose.
Just a few miles from the Dinosaur State Park and Fossil Rim Wildlife Center.
we also get wildlife visiting us. We have horses, cows, goats, chickens, and cat on the property to visit with and feed carrots to.
Guest pay for any damages to house done by guest or other guest.
farm animals are close by, but most of the time you cant hear them.
Covered carport is lighted to park your car under and six foot privacy fence in the backyard. Cigar or cigarette is ok outside on front or back porch.

Summary: We had a wonderful time staying here for our 35th wedding anniversary. It was beautiful and quiet. Sitting on the front porch looking at the rolling hills and countryside was amazing. But we were also just minutes from the heart of Granbury with lots to do. A great weekend!!

Summary: Lovely setting quiet area. This location was perfect for exploring Granbury and Glen Rose. If you want quiet, this is it. The host was thoughtful to have extras in Bath area and kitchen well stocked. I was concerned about the bed at first but it was actually quite comfortable. The reason I didn’t give this property a five: unfortunately when we walked in the first thing I saw was dust covering the top of little fridge. The towel bar in the bath kept falling off and the drawer in the closet dresser was off the rail. Actually this made me feel more at home! Lol. But was a bit annoying These things did not prevent us from enjoying our stay

Summary: Where do I start? A friend and I booked this wonderful cabin for four days. She had to return to work after the four days, but I stayed another week! The peace and quiet was exactly what we needed after a very stressful year. The cabin was clean, beautifully furnished, and so convenient. We loved the horses and chickens but did not see the fainting goat faint. Carolyn, our host was very helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed her visits. We plan to book again in the spring or early summer.

Summary: It was enjoyable to stay on the "Farmhouse" property. Accommodations were perfect for us, and we loved being in the country and yet so close to restaurants and entertainment. We even met the owner for a "chat.". Great experience, and would go back again.

Summary: This little guesthouse was everything my fiancé, Kathryn, and I had asked for. Carolyn was extremely courteous for our birthday vacation. If you want a small vacation to get away but also have interesting events, this perfect median between Glen Rose and Granbury will make you feel at home in no time!

Summary: We have searched for a place to unplug since we relocated 2 years ago. We miss the trees from home. This is the 8th cabin/cottage we have stayed in searching for serenity. THIS IS THE PLACE! 💖 We are so grateful to have found peace and serenity in more ways than one. Carolyn and her daughter have the most well mannered horses that love attention. The whole farm is full of happiness! The land, the owners and the animals are kind, sincere and happy. Unplugging changed our life. It took a village filled with kind people, animals and a cottage. We will be back again! If your not into all that. It’s a great place for privacy.
