Summary: Enjoyed the lake and the area. The cottage was larger than I expected. There was a boil water order in effect that we were not told about so I left with an e. coli infection. We met with Jane upon arrival and we should have been told of the boil water order as we would have taken the proper precautions.

Summary: We really lucked out. This property was close to the wedding venue. We just needed a place to sleep and get ready for a few days. We didn’t spend much time there otherwise.

Summary: The cottage was nice. Having a fenced yard and a gate was great for dogs. All the fans supplied were awesome in cooling the place down in the evening. I recommend being prepared for mosquitoes and bringing bottled water. The Host was lovely. Check in and check out was easy.

Summary: House was clean and looked freshly painted inside. Lots of windows, 2 good sized bedrooms plus hideabed couch (not used). Took mattress from top bunk and used it on the floor. No a/c. but floor fans available although some were very dusty. Good variety of cooking utensils but frying pans have seen better days. Outside stairs were rickety and only one person used them at a time. Require painting as slivers were abundant. Yard area is mostly dirt and weeds, unsuitable for children to play on. Correct address is 5187 Ivy Road address on listing is 5871 Ivy Road, leading to a dead end past where the actual house is.

Summary: If you are looking for a short stay home in the Eagle Bay area this home will do. We were in the area for a wedding and wanted to bring the dog and our two teenage boys. Home is comfortable, has good beds including a hide a bed in the living room. Clean and comfortable but not great esthetically. There is no lawn or yard to speak of and the outdoor area consists of a large wooden deck that needs some serious maintenance including loose and soft deck boards and wobbly handrails. Homeowner should consider some new pots and frying pans as they are old and warped. The Bar b que is a throw away. Some paper towels, napkins and basics in the kitchen would also be a welcome addition, as would a general clean up of the yard and under the deck. Sufficient for what we needed though.

Summary: The property is located quite a ways out of Salmon Arm, but is worth the drive around the lake. We very much enjoyed our stay and will most likely be back next year.
