Summary: Lovely and romantic , if small. Had all the amenities could need (Washing machine, dishwasher, oven , microwave etc...) and was easy to locate upon arrival. Owners are lovely and nice, offering all help needed

Summary: The pigeonier was delightful, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The garden is huge and interesting. Pool, although not heated, was an excellent addition which we enjoyed and was well kept. HOWEVER, we were not informed about a wedding which took place over two days of our stay and surrounded the pigeonier entirely such that we could not escape from it (the wedding family were lovely and very sympathetic thankfully). This is not a one off as the owners regularly let the venue for weddings. Cannot recommend the venue for dog owners as the garden is entirely open (apart from the pool) and we had to keep our dog under surveillance or tied up the whole time. Also note that the owner no longer grows or sells wine. Directions: follow signs for Chateau La Tour Plantade in the hamlet of Soucarie just north west of Labastide de Levis.
