Summary: We stayed here in 2021... and wanted to return. We fianlly had the chance in February 2024 and weren't disappointrd. It really is a lovely property. About 40 minutes walk from the restaurants of El Cotillo along the clifftop path... or about 30 minutes by the more direct inland route. Far from mass tourism, this is a great place to relax. We'll be back again, sometime.

Summary: It's a lovely apartment, in a rural location about 30 mins walk from El Cotillo and its bars and restaurants. A car is essentisl, but the wonderful "steps beach" is just about 30 minutes walk, further away from El Cotillo. The hosts are delightful, the property very homely and the town has everything you need!!

Summary: The house is really cozy and in the middle of nowhere (although really closed to the village El Cotillo and 5 minute-walk from the beach). Kitchen very well-equiped and everything well organised. There is a lovely BBQ with lavic stone outside and several terraces from where you can watch stars at night! :-)

Summary: We had a very nice time in the holiday home of Johan and Aline. The house is situated in a unique and beautiful location. With the view to the hills and on the other side the sea is rushing. We had a very nice family time. The children love to feed the donkeys and chickens in the morning. The starry sky at night is incredibly beautiful. Thank you for everything and we will surely come back again!

Summary: Beautiful home with well appointed kitchen for making meals. Comfortable bedrooms and baths. Great rooftop for relaxation and a variety of areas for enjoyment of meals. Easy walks to uncrowded beaches. Very friendly host. We went without a car. 2.5 km walk to bus for Correljo and to stores for groceries. We enjoyed a very relaxing time and would recommend for those wanting to enjoy time away from crowds.

Summary: What can we say about Aline and Johan's house? Be ready to enjoy the sea and the mountains during the day! Enjoy the stars at night! and enjoy the sound of silence! If we have spent such a great week in Fuerteventura it is for a big part thanks to Aline and Johan's warm welcome and their beautiful house. The house is situated on a preserved part of the island where you can feel alone but still very close to the nice village El Cotillo with supermarket, restaurants, and pleasant people. We could not expect a better place to stay in. The house is very comfortable and very well equipped, we felt at home and the views around are just amazing from the terraces. If you are looking for a place far away from mass tourism, this is the place to be. Aline and Johan gave us good tips for visiting the island. They were present when needed but also very discreet. Shall we come back to Fuerteventura, there is no other place we'd rather be! Aline, Johan, on vous remercie vivement pour tout et surtout votre hospitalité! Summary: This is a fantastic place to stay, but you do need a car for shopping. The mountains are beautiful to see as you open the front door in the morning. All day they look beautiful as the sun streams down onto the patio, and eating outside is a real pleasure, too. Everything in the house is good, with a well equipped kitchen, and a lovely airy bedroom with comfortable beds. Aline and Johan are good hosts but never intrusive, There are hens, a donkey, and a couple of horses. Johan brought us a couple of beautiful fresh eggs from the hens which made our holiday complete.

Summary: El Cotillo is a wonderful place to relax: not that many tourists, long beaches with only a few people (apart from Los Lagos), nice restaurants - and this house somewhere out of the village... nothing fancy, but with style, managed with heart by the very nice Aline and Johan. We enjoyed or stay there and recommend this house for those which do not need action and night life entertainment every day... ;-)
