Terraced distinctive house renovated 75 m² for 4 people located in a nice quiet and relaxing town.
Ground floor: room / bed of 140 cms, bathroom with washing machine, shower and toilet.
Floor: a kitchen, a living room with SOFA - 140 cms bed, a television, stereo, wifi internet.
Mezzanine for a sitting area.
Small independent garden behind the house; lovely spacious terrace on the front. tables, chairs, barbecue chairs are available.
Sabadel Lauzès is in the middle of the lot. Thus, all visits are equidistant from the gite.
The Lot is a department full of curiosities to discover (boat rides on the lot, castles, caves, water park, and beautiful cities to visit as Cahors with its famous Valentré bridge, Rocamadour, and many other small villages of character as Saint Cirq and the famous Padirac.
This department also offers activities such as canoeing, hiking, swimming, not forgetting that the Dordogne (including Sarlat and Domme) is only 1 hour from Sabadel-Lauzés.

Summary: Outside areas, terrace and small garden, had table and chairs and picnic table and were very nice. The charming village was very quiet except when the church bells tolled many times at 7:00 and 19:00. The kitchen lacked some cooking utensils (notably a spatula and cutting board) making it awkward to cook, but otherwise had everything you need. The steps into the WC and bath areas were a little tricky at night in the dark. The owners live just behind, but we rarely saw them. There is a decent market for shopping within about 15-20 minute drive.

Summary: The cottage was everything we had hoped it would be, a beautiful cottage in a wonderful village. A perfect quiet retreat for us to base ourselves for the week, all the attractions we wished to visit were within an hours drive on mostly quiet lanes and roads. Isabelle and Lionel were on hand to meet us upon arrival and quickly welcomed us to the cottage, through the week we exchanged greetings and it was nice to know they were on hand if we had any issue, which there were none. Everything we needed was readily available at the cottage, the only slight issue was the lack of wine glasses but as we do we found alternatives which proved more than adequate. This is more a reflection of previous guest that the vendors, as people who break things should replace them! In summary we had a perfect week and enjoyed the area very much, if we return to the area again we will certainly explore the cottage availability again. Summary: We enjoyed our cottage in the peaceful village of Sabudel-Lauzes. The cottage was full of character and tastefully restored, and had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the terrace in the evening overlooking the village and the church. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and nearby to help with any problems - not that there were any. The cottage was ideally located for visits to the magnificent Lot Valley, just a few miles away, and for visits to Cahors, Figeac, Rocamadour and Sait-Cirq-Lapopie. Cycle and kayak hire were available not far away and we had lovely days cycling in the Lot Valley and kayaking on the beautiful River Cele. There were lots of walking trails to explore too. We would love to return to this beautiful part of France.
