Summary: Host had excellent communication, apartment was clean and nicely appointed, though a little well worn in spots. Beautiful yard and pool. It's a beautiful quiet neighborhood, but not very central to the typical toursity things, so prepare for uber rides. My only wish would have been an actual drip coffee maker and nicer weather to have enjoyed the pool!

Summary: This little spot is pretty centrally located between Toronto and Niagara. That said it can be a commute to get anywhere, but absolutely no worse than back home on the US west coast!As you pull into the neighborhood, you are greeted with some of the most charming, and architecturally pleasing to the eye, homes. The living quarters themselves were perfect for my husband and me. They were clean, well modernized and fairly peaceful. (There is a family living upstairs and of course you can hear them from time to time, but everybody goes to sleep.) ;-)I can’t talk on the pool because it was still winterized, but we didn’t mind at all. The small thicket out back was neat to have, to sit and watch the small bit of Mother Nature while drinking coffee. Our hostess was very sweet. My husband thought he had left the house key in our rental car and she told us not to worry and found him a spare. He found it so we could give both back. Thank you to our wonderful host family. This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for us and it was definitely well worth it!Oh and Google ‘Gladiator Burgers and Steak’. That place was de-lush!! Their poutine…chef’s kiss!
