Positive: Location was great. Good living space

Negative: It needs a bit of painting and updating and general maintenance. Garden was overgrown. Also the pictures shown of the garden were for the other unit and not the one we got.

Positive: Location is just a few minutes walk from Monet's house and garden. Cottage was very clean and reasonably spacious. Pretty well equipped. Owner was extremely helpful both before and during our stay.

Negative: An invasion of ants one night ( but this is rural France..and the owner had helpfully already provided ant powder in advance as she had spotted a few the previous day). The usable garden is quite small

Positive: 3rd stay at one of the lovely, self-catering cottages. Warm , clean, and spacious. Very close to Monet's house and garden without being in the path of the other tourists. Easy stroll around the village and restaurants when needed. Sylvaine is a wonderful hostess. Recommended.
