Charming, quaint cottage built in the 40's surrounded by woods and nature. Just minutes away from Presque Isle beaches, hiking trails and biking trails at the Peninsula, Asbury Woods and Fairview Park. Kayaking, canoeing, birdwatching, kiteboarding, and windsurfing at the Peninsula is forever favorites. Concerts at sunset and music throughout the season for enchanting summer evenings. Great for taking a break from your busy schedule to relax and enjoy the beauty of the outdoor surroundings. Close to all and any favorite fishing spots around. Minutes away from one of the best and most favorite water park on the east coast, Waldameer. Winter brings another season of some of the best cross country skiing around and not too far from, Peak n' Peak. and of course, the Peninsula! Wineries are a favorite in the area and not too far away in any direction. Holidays offer special events for every occasion throughout the area like ZooBoo at the Erie Zoo. Erie IS the best LITTLE BIG TOWN around!

Summary: This cottage was cute and perfect for a week of quiet retreat. The yard is surrounded with trees. Those had that secluded feeling without being far away from people. Close to stores and Presque Isle State Park. It was an enjoyable week.

Summary: Although the cottage had a sweet nostalgic feel to it— there were a number of issues- the worst of which included the TV not functioning, kitchen sink that was rusted out and had no filter, and the bathroom sink sending up sewage- like fumes. Also, there was no communication- no number to call for problems. Wuite disappointed on this one. I’ll have to think twice before using VRBO again
