Positive: We stayed at Cottage Bara over Christmas last year. It was the perfect location for us as part of the family came from Poland and the rest from Germany. The house is roomy, very comfortable and cozy. Everything you need for a short stay is there. In addition, we used the sauna which was a wonderful treat for all of us, including the kids. We had no problems keeping the house warm using the wood stoves and I can imagine the house would be a great spot for a spring or summer getaway, too. I would love to have used the pizza oven and the facilities outside, had it not been so cold! The owner has been more than accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. All in all, we couldn't have booked a better place for our stay. Thank you so much!

Positive: It’s a beautiful place to stay — quiet, peaceful, with a nice countryside vibe. The cottage was clean and well equipped. The bed sheets and towels smelled amazing! The kitchen had a dishwasher and all the cleaning supplies you might need. Great communication with the owner. We stayed with friends and three small children, and even though the stairs are steep, the owner thought of everything — there was an option to attach a safety gate, which is a big plus.

Positive: Our stay was fantastic, and the atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed! One standout feature was the pizza oven—it was our first time using a wood-fired oven, and the experience was unforgettable. The pizza came out with an incredible taste, unlike anything we’ve had before. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed for a cozy and enjoyable visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique touch to their stay!

Positive: The cottage was really big with huge spaces and fully equipped (even with dishwasher and washing machine and all the chemicals). The newly-built sauna was also great. The host/property manager was really friendly and nice.

Negative: Due to rainy weather the ground around house become muddy.

Positive: We had a lovely 3 nights stay in this cottage. It had everything we needed as a family with 3 kids. Very peaceful place surrounded by nature. Great bbq, plenty of wood for it, well equipped kitchen, cosy beds and nice bathrooms. WiFi, Netflix, garden, sand pit and a little playground kept our kids entertained in the evenings. Very helpful host gave us a lot of suggestions for activities and places to go. Will be happy to return!

Positive: Cottage Bara is is a great place to travel with kids. The house has a huge garden with beautiful views of the mountains and meadows, where little ones can play and run along with a playground, a smoke house, a grill and a big smart TV. A huge plus is how close are the beautiful mountain trails - some of the closest ones you can go are Machovski Kriz, Koruna and Bozanovski Spicak - Bozanov is a great base for hiking trips! The house itself is very clean, spacious and cozy. The hosts are nice, helpful, caring and provide lots of tourist information which can also be found in the house as well. There is also a laundry machine and a fully equipped kitchen. Looking forward to visiting this great place again!

Positive: Cottage Bara was quiet, peaceful and exactly what we were looking for! The house was very comfortable and very well equipped, though we were mostly interested in spending our time outside and in the surrounding forests. The garden is very large and is very suitable for a family. We really enjoyed sitting on the top of the hill in the evenings and enjoying the view. They have a private wine cellar and a amazing tille woodstove that makes you feel you are in a castle! Our host was communicative and gave us many suggestions and instructions on how to use the meat smoker! Check in was simple, a woman on the same street met us and showed us everything in the house, and came back for check out. She was very helpful and also knowledgable about the area and many things growing there. We will definitely be back to visit Bozanov! Thank you for the memorable time :)
