Positive: We were looking to stay outside of the hustle and bustle and expense of Sidmouth and this fitted the bill perfectly. Plenty of space, huge breakfast and a great rapport with our host Bert who was most informative.

Positive: Bert is a very hospitable and welcoming host. The accommodation is very comfortable and I thought it was excellent value for money. I especially liked the nice touch of leaving some sweets and biscuits in the living room area. I did not want for anything and the breakfast was great too. WiFi was also to a high standard, which was needed for work.

Negative: Nothing to not like at all.

Positive: A lovely thatched cottage, which was full of character, located in a small village a couple of miles from Sidmouth. We had a private upstairs area which included a double bedroom, bathroom and sitting room! The breakfast consisted of cooked and continental which was beautifully prepared by the host. The host was friendly and welcoming and he couldn’t do enough for you. Exceptionally good value for the money.

Negative: Nothing!

Positive: We had a nice stay at Bert's place with my partner. The host was extrelmely nice, polite and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional, we had a traditional English breakfast and Bert recomended us a lot of nice places to visit around the Jurassic coast. The room under the thatched roof offers a lot of comfort and privacy, the bed was fine and the bathroom was spatious and clean. For all these reasons I higly recommend cotford cottage to couples or pairs of friends traveling by car and looking fot a cozy stay.

Negative: This is not a Hotel or an inn, this is a B&B in the owner's private house in a quiet neighbourhood. So you will need to give your check-in time in advance (no 24h reception obviously), state your allergies and diet in advance for the breakfast and be mindful of the host if you enter or leave the house during the night.
