Enjoy scenic views of Wellington, the coolest little capital in the world, from this cosy, self contained studio apartment located in the central city suburb of Brooklyn. An ideal place to stay and relax, if you're visiting for pleasure or business. With its own private entrance you'll feel right at home in this studio apartment which includes free wifi, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette and a lavender court yard. After a long day, a comfortable queen bed awaits you or if you have a need to stretch your legs, take an invigorating walk up the track to the Brooklyn wind turbine through the Waimapihi Reserve. Quality restaurants, cafes, bars and takeaways are just a 5 min drive away at the Brooklyn village or watch a movie at the local vintage cinema. The distance between the studio and city is about 3 km. It will take between 30 to 40 minutes for a leisure walk which takes you through the Wellington's Central Park located close to the CBD, containing native bush, a playground and flying fox. The nearest bus stop is only 6 minutes walk down the road and the bus No. 17 takes you to the city daily. Summary: Great location with views right down the harbour and towards the Hutt Valley. A studio with character, my only regret is that the weather wasn't conducive to sitting out on the seat outside. Parking not an issue (unlike in town!) Hosts were very responsive but discreet. If you are a walker, go back down 50m to the track that takes you up to the wind turbine - only a 30min walk.
