Positive: After travelling for two weeks, multiple pods and hotels, we had the best nights sleep right here. The property is tucked away privately, with a fantastic view of the lake from the living room window. It is well heated, with the ability to increase if needed as extra oil heaters supplied. The kitchen has everything you could need in your own home, to make a meal including a microwave. The shower is hot, and the water runs well. There are books to fill your evenings, and plenty of shops to drive for food/take out/pub. On arrival we had bread butter, eggs, home made marmalade and milk, which is such a lovely touch. The ducks add an even more rustic touch, and it was truely an all round delight staying here. We were able to relax, in peace and quiet.
