Villa’s name is Philoxenia, signifying shelter and love and depicting the warmth and care that you will feel during your staying. From here, you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of one of Andros’ most beautiful beaches, the St. Peter’s, and the small islands of the bay. An unforgettable dream like scenery in a serene and completely relaxing and rejuvenating holiday environment.
Philoxenia, is a two level villa, one of our villas, all located in our 4.000 sq.m grand property land. The architects designed these elegant, also stone-surfaced structure, to blend in harmoniously with the breathtaking scenery and uneven landscape. The house offers coziness that makes you feel at home. There is a yard which is bordered by an oasis of flowers and aromatic plants.
Our villa is being developed in two levels (connected by interior and exterior staircases). It is noteworthy to state that the stone parts of the home have been built with the talent and skills of the builders, using the stone which was dug up from the ground below and around the home. The result is a harmoniously structured home built with natural local materials, which will offer you the privacy and relaxation you need.
At the ground floor there is a cozy living room, creatively decorated with inspiration and style, a dining room with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen (incl. a dishwasher), a bedroom (with a double bed) and fully equipped bathroom. The high aesthetics interior space of the first level (of 68 sq.m) continues into a breathtaking large outdoor space which includes a spacious designed pergola with a sitting area, stone benches, a large outdoor dining table and outdoor furniture. From there you can enjoy one of the most spectacular panoramic views of Saint Peter’s bay and nearby islands allowing you to fully enjoy an unforgettable dream like scenery in a serene and completely relaxing and rejuvenating holiday environment.
On the upper level (50 sq.m interior space), there are two bedrooms, (with double beds) and a bathroom. This level has a large, independent veranda fully covered by a pergola with comfortable stone bench also offering a fantastic sea view.
There is parking, wi-fi, air-conditioning and autonomous heating in the home. This villa can comfortably host up to 6 persons and is ideal for couples, friends and families.
We are proud of our many lovely renowned nearby sandy beaches. We also wanted to offer a further enjoyment. Thus, at a carefully selected location of our property, above our villas, we have also built a spacious swimming pool area for the use of our two rental villas guests. So, indulge yourself more, in this impressive area, which includes a quality large swimming pool, a great porch with broad stone benches and pool sun loungers. Be amazed at our scenic view of Saint Peter's beach and small islands and take a splash at our quality swimming pool.
We have selected to build our house on the slope of Saint Peter's hill (so a 300 m uphill road leads to us) at this location of our properties, 600 m from the beautiful sandy beach, because of its magnificent undisturbed beach view. There are gourmet taverns just 800 m, a grocery shop 700 m and a supermarket 1,2 Km away from home. The house is also just 3 km from Andros’ port Gavrio, and 5 km from the lively town of Batsi. From the house you can also walk up to the ancient (4th - 3rd BC) tower of Agios Petros.
Apart from more than 40 magnificent swim beaches, water sport centers, culture (ancient, byzantine and modern) , culinary delights and spectacular mountains , Andros island is among the best of Europe for hiking with more than 160 km of total way marked routes, 100 km certified hiking routes, 15 days of guaranteed hiking quality (info: at androsroutes) through quintessential eastern mediterranean landscapes with wild flowers, watermills, old farm houses, byzantine churches and monasteries.

Summary: The view from the Terrasse is breathtaking and the Hosts are very friendly and have us many tips. The Kids loved the pool which also offers a terrific view! The House is equipped in a very tasteful way. We liked it a lot!

Summary: I cannot praise this villa enough. The views are amazing, the decor is tasteful, it's ell-equipped with everything you might need. The views are breath-taking. Summary: We really didn't want to leave. Lia was the most attentive and helpful host. She dealt with a few everyday problems with super speed and good grace and nothing was too much trouble. As well as giving us great advice on things to do locally, she has also created a beautifully equipped home for her guests. We had everything we needed and a few things besides that I wouldn't have thought of. Even her choice of home fragrance and the keyring on the main door were tasteful and beautiful. The views are absolutely spectacular. You do need a car (they make no secret of this), but being fully mobile is important on Andros - not just for accessing the beautiful villa, but also for seeing as much of the island as possible. It's heart-soaringly gorgeous, and if you don't feel like going out, there's always the pool with the complete view of the local beaches, Gavrio town and all the hillsides in-between. I can't find any faults - just make sure you like walking, driving and stairs, and Andros (and the villa) will reward you wholesomely for your efforts. We had such a lovely time, we're already planning a return.

Summary: We had a lovely time at this property. Everything we're needed was supplied. The view is spectacular especially from the pool. Lia went out of her way to be helpful and welcoming. Well situated to visit Batsi only 10 mins away. Excellent local beaches

Summary: We stayed in Andros at the end of august and had a fantastic time. The appartment is very cozy with a very tasteful, typically cycladic interieur. The large terrace offers great view over St. Peters beach. The pool area offers great views and shade. Beautiful beaches, taverns and restaurants can be reached easily with short drives (car is a needed). A bakery and a supermarket are close by. The appartment is located conveniently between Gavrio and Batsi. Lia & Ioannis are fantstic hosts and provided us with helpful Information on the beautiful island.

Summary: If you are looking for peace and tranquillity, surrounded by beauty, you have found it! My husband and I just returned from a one week stay and we are completely relaxed and refreshed. The house and location have everything that you could possibly need - it was extremely clean, and so much care and detail is put into the design and environment... the flowers, the decor, the pool area. Beaches and restaurants are nearby. The photos posted on the website showcase reality, in the best way. Plus, Lia makes sure her guests feel welcome and was very accommodating to all of our needs throughout our visit (thank you Lia!). We really enjoyed our vacation here and will keep dreaming of the beautiful sunsets until we return again.

Summary: When my wife, son, and I arrived to the property we were amazed at how welcoming Lia is. She was super helpful and accommodating the entire time we were there. She is a gem :) The property itself is incredible!!!! The view will take your breath away. The house is clean, modern, and perfect. The area is great. Close to amazing beaches and places to eat too. Overall I cant wait to go back to Andros but when i do i will make sure to stay with Lia again. Even if that doesnt work out, she is such a great person that I will be stopping by to see her regardless. Cant recommend her place enough!~

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the apartment as an excellent base to travel around Andros. The location is perfect between two lively villages and easy distance to great beaches and very good tavernas and restaurants. The apartment itself is very comfortable and delivered on everything it promised. When we decided to eat in, the occasional breakfast or dinner on the terrace provided beautiful views over the Aegean Sea. Our hosts Ioannis and Lia were very friendly and helpful. They very kindly spent time advising us on best beaches to go to and their favourite tavernas which proved invaluable information to enjoy the best that Andros has to offer. All in all a great 3 weeks in a beautiful place Tony and Mary - australia/Italy
