Positive: Very clean. Parking was easy and free.

Negative: The boiler failed sometime on the second night/morning which left us without heating (not great in February) or hot water. My 80 year old father really felt the cold and it was an uncomfortable few hours before we left. Without hot water we were unable to wash or shower. I notified the host at the earliest opportunity and although they were initially sympathetic, when I explained the full impact on our stay there was a “so what” sort of attitude.

Summary: Nice, clean place but the issue with the boiler really spoilt our stay.

Negative: Very little parking and we got a ticket. No real time TV. Netflix wouldn't work after 1st day.

Positive: This was a fantastic home for my 3-week stay. The house was very clean and I never heard any noise from the neighbors, which made it very peaceful. Its location was ideal, just a short walk to shops like Asda, B&M, M&S Food, and Iceland, as well as the bus/train station and the town center. The owner was responsive and replied quickly to my messages. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it!

Negative: No major complaints, but I’ll mention a few minor points. The frying pan was slightly warped on the bottom, which made cooking a bit awkward. Also, I put the bin out on the scheduled day, but unfortunately, the bin men didn’t come. However, I understand this is outside the owner's control. Finally, in the front bedroom you can clearly hear the cars on the main road and people walking past if they're talking on the night, something to bare in mind if you're a light sleeper (no noise can be heard from the other bedroom though).

Summary: My stay was comfortable, convenient, and exceeded expectations—an ideal home away from home.

Positive: Cosy home perfect for a family or group of people to stay. Clean, tidy, nicely decorated. Looked newly renovated. Parking space and permit. Easy check in and out.

Negative: Bathroom could have been fitted with a lock on the door. Apart from that all good.
