Positive: Technically this a self catering holiday but the hosts left some delicious eggs for our breakfast fresh from the hens on the farm as well as a welcome pack. The hosts were extremely welcoming and ensured our stay was excellent, they were there for you when you needed them. It was a beautiful setting, quiet, felt secluded, secure but not far to travel to any places that you wish to go to. The wood fired hot tub was fantastic, it was just a shame it was cloudy on both nights so we couldn’t see the stars. The hut was so warm we only needed to put the wood burner on low. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in returning for another stay in the future and recommending it to friends and family.

Positive: We loved the hut, the location and the woodfired hot tub. Everything still felt new and was beautifully decorated in a quaint, but classy and contemporary style. The hut was nestled on a quiet little hill with 360 views.

Negative: There wasn't really anything not to like! The only 2 improvements we'd suggest: We would have really benefited from the cool box being electrically cooled from the mains. It didn't need to be a full working fridge, because I'm not sure where they'd put it! But a plug in cool box rather than needing to switch over ice packs each day would have kept our milk and cheese fresher and not required a daily visit to switch over the icepack. Also, I larger frying pan/wok would be great. Tiny living doesn't mean tiny meals 😄 and it was a bit of a challenge to cook a meal for 2 in a pan made for 1.
