Summary: Fantastic stay. Appartment exactly as described ( liked the nice bedding ) And the roof top terrace was a great bonus. Good commutation before hand with lots of local info and this continued through out our trip.

Summary: Comfortable apartment in a busy area, super close to Galata tower, perfect for a short trip to Istanbul. The view from the rooftop is amazing. The manager of the apartment was extremely accommodating with the early check-in which we really appreciated. Overall a nice stay.

Summary: The apartment met high expectations! The little things lifted it above them. E.g. happy to let us check in before they had finished cleaning, coffee, washing powder, water, coffee, travelcards, soap and shampoo all there The manager even met us as we stepped out of the taxi, guessing that the family of four in an airport taxi were his guests! Summary: This place is amazing in the heart of galata. The rooms are nice and everything is clean and welcoming. I’d stay again when visiting Istanbul. The best area any tourist should stay at in my opinion.

Summary: Julia met at us at the apartment even though we ended up being so late! She gave us a wonderful tour explaining all the rules and expectations and offered us some Istanbulkarts. The apartment was amazing! The rooms are large and comfortable, and the windows give lots of light. There is rooftop access which gives such an amazing view of the Old Town. We didn’t bother going up the Galata Tower because it would have been the same view. We spent a few evenings up there with the tourists over our shoulder! Watching the sunset and the lights come on over Sultanamet is amazing! The area is also amazing, you are right next to a major attraction as well as restaurants and shops, but the apartment stays quiet. The coffee shop next door is fantastic!

Summary: The apartment has a great location. Essentially at the base of the Galata Tower. The terrace has terrific views at day and night. The apartment was spacious. The host had someone waiting for us at check-in. He showed us the rooms, explained the keys, offered suggestions and left a complimentary Istanbul metro card, washing power and electric adapter. The bathrooms were modern and spacious. The washing machine worked well and the clothes drying rack was helpful. Since this is a remodeled old building, the apartment layout is a little strange, but all that added to the charm for us. The very high painted ceilings and brick walls added a distinct character. Beautiful place, well maintained and wonderfully responsive hosts. We loved it.

Summary: This is a large, attractive unit in the heavily pedestrianized traffic district around Galata Tower. Ideal for people who want cafes, restaurants and shops right outside your door. Not suitable for anyone who would have trouble hiking up and down very steep streets. The view from the rooftop terrace is breathtaking but requires walking up seven stories above ground level. Light sleepers might be disturbed by weekend night noise from a classy restaurant out the window downstairs. The noise grows louder as the night gets late and tapers off around 1:00am. Communication with owner/manager was easy, and check in was smooth and pleasant.

Summary: My first time in Istanbul, I was traveling with my two adult children and we needed to each have a bed. This apartment was great for us with three beds and two bathrooms. The location was great and the suggestions from the host were fantastic. They arranged our airport transfers and had wonderful suggestions for restaurants and activities.
