Positive: Unfortunately we checked in but didn't stay at the property due to one of our party feeling ill, so we decided to continue our journey home. The host was very responsive and clear communication and friendly when she popped out after I messaged to say we would be checking out early.

Negative: As mentioned above, we didn't stay so I can't comment on comfort. We did however notice that the property wasn't as clean as we would expect, and it was also a factor in our decision to leave. The skirting boards and corners of shower were dirty. Some of the towels were dirty and bed linen was very worn and thin. The property is located on a housing estate, not in the countryside as it appears in the pictures. We wouldn't book to stay in future.

Summary: Early check out due to illness, but wouldn't rebook

Positive: Great quiet location and well equipped, cozy and relaxing place. Definitely recommend for anyone needing some peace

Negative: It was very cold in there and didn't warm up very much despite the heaters and heating being on. Lack of secure garden as its pet friendly its something we expected however it was open and the road into the close is accessible.

Positive: This little holiday lodge had everything you would need in a home from home. Had it's own garden:by a little stream,we were lucky with the sunny weather too,so could sit out.We were going to a family party;so was near to the venue ,and lovely garden centre that we visited. Al in all ;a lovely little break!!

Negative: A bit noisy early on our first morning there,(a digger )next door before 8am)
