Summary: The snug..was such a lovely comfy stay. It had everything you need for a lovely stay. The owner Les was a friendly gentleman who couldn't do enough to help. All the little touches gave it a homely feel. Area beautiful but definitely to bring satnav to help you find places. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

Summary: On arrival we met with Les who was very welcoming the accommodation was everything and more than we were expecting the location and views were amazing the accommodation had everything we needed we will definitely be staying again in the near future

Summary: If you are looking for modern accommodation in a county setting then The Snug, which is light, airy and very comfortable, is for you. On arrival I received a very warm greeting from Les, the owner, and was shown around. There was milk in the fridge and a tray of complementary tea, coffee and biscuits. I found the whole property to be well equipped with all you need for your holiday. Although The Snug is attached to the main property you are totally private and have your own patio. This was a great place to chill out any time of day, and an especially good spot to catch the evening sun with your meal and perhaps a glass of wine. Les was there to say goodbye and thank me for staying. The bigger Thank You was from me to him, for providing such a great little place for my mini holiday. Pen Selwood is a small village, with narrow lanes. I walked for miles along these, with hardly a car passing me, an having friendly chats with dog walkers. Wincanton is the closest town, about 5miles away, where you will find supermarkets to stock up on supplies. Stourhead House and Gardens is fifteen minutes away, and lovely place to spend the day exploring the extensive grounds.
