Positive: A cute little house. Comfy couch, comfy beds, great sun terrace. 5 minute walk to a few restaurants and shop...and netflix...And Rosa, who picked us up from airport was a super star. She showed us around the complex, drove us around the area took us shopping. Such a wonderful lady.

Negative: The main reason we booked here is that there was a shop and restaurant on site, both were closed first week October, as was the closest pool. Being 70, we had issues with the stairs and the steps going up to the sundeck. The beach was great but, again being old, it took us much longer than 10 minutes to walk there.

Positive: Fantastic house, very clean and well equipped Great location close to the beach and bars along with 4 swimming pools all in close walking distance and in a secure complex with access through several gates Very helpful correspondence from host and definitely will return again 🙂

Summary: 2hr flight, 20 mins taxi ride from airport and a great location - definitely would recommend

Positive: The house is in a really well designed and managed urbanización with plenty of shade and greenery and very near the local bus stops. The swimming pools were lovely and not too busy. The house itself had everything we required, and the air-conditioning in the bedrooms worked really well in very hot weather. The roof terrace and outdoor space was a lovely bonus. We were especially grateful to Lynn for allowing us to check-in early and again for her flexibility on checkout.

Positive: The holiday home was clean and very functional. The upstairs bedroom area was bright and spacious and very comfortable for sleeping for our family of five. Each bedroom had an AC unit. Upstairs there were also two renovated bathrooms with showers. The very top of the apartment had a spacious and newly renovated rooftop terrace. We enjoyed a lot of meals on the rooftop terrace and had a great view of the Urbanization and Gran Alacant from here. We enjoyed the tennis court very much. The beach was a short walk away which was beautiful. The holiday home also offered a very nice front terrace which was perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee, meal or glas of wine in the evenings.

Negative: The main swimming pool of the facility was closed during our stay (October) and was not as luxurious and large as shown in the photographs. The facility room adjacent to the kitchen needed to be repeatedly aired out because of moisture collection from an older laundry sink.

Positive: Costa Hispania is a lovely complex with pool areas, tennis court/football pitch, and restaurant/shop. It is safe and well maintained. Our apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped, and our hostess Lynn was very helpful with lots of information about the area. The beach is within walking distance and is beautiful, and there are several boardwalks onto it from the promenade between Costa Hispania and Arenales del Sol.

Negative: Its not really a complaint but public transport in the local area is unreliable. There are restaurants and local supermarkets but the larger shops are further away so I would recommend hiring a car if you wish to see more of the surrounding area.

Positive: Lynn was extremely helpful, great instructions on finding property, keys etc and lots of additional info on the local area. The organisation is lovely, choice of pools, tennis & basketball court and place was so well maintained & clean. House was well equipped with extras such as bottle of wine (thanks!) tennis rackets, beach towels & chairs. The area is quiet but walking distance to beautiful beach, a few good restaurants close by.

Positive: We had really great experience with the accomodation. The owner was very nice, helpful, friendly and everything worked out perfectly. We had great instructions where we can find the keys and everything was really easy. In addition, we got some extra info about the surrounding area and things which are around to check out. For our welcome, we found some wine and some other nice goodies which was really nice and thoughtful. The beds were prepared nice as well and we found nearly everything which we needed to have a nice stay.

Negative: The bugs/cockroaches were not very welcoming but at least we had some sprays in the house. The beds were kinda uncomfy, especially the pillows. Besides that we cannot complain about anything.

Summary: Very nice house, perfect to stay there with kids. Great area. Worked out perfectly!

Positive: The roof terrace was fantastic. The urbanisation was lovely and quiet. There was a short walk to the bus stop but was easily doable. The beach at playa de Carabassi was a short walk too and was excellent. I would highly recommend this as it was lovely. The hosts are always willing to help and are very friendly.

Negative: Bear in mind that siesta is a real thing and if you need some groceries then there are a couple of supermarkets which are about 20 minutes walk away. We did struggle with the heating from the Aircon at night but there are plenty of extra blankets if needed.
