Positive: The location was lovely and tranquil with beautiful views from hotel. there is a very nice nature walk at the end of the road that winds around the lake. room was very clean and comfortable and Richard was very kind and accommodating. We would highly recommend Corrib Lodge as a peaceful retreat.

Negative: no kettle in room or communal area.

Summary: Comfortable, peaceful, a great escape from busy life.

Positive: What an amazingly beautiful Lodge, stunning surrounding scenery of Lough Corrib and incredibly kind and wonderful hosts! We could not have picked a better place for our short autumn break. Guiglielmo's Italian 4- course dinners are a culinary delight. Beautifully furnished and very comfortable rooms with great views, delightful breakfast, a truly warm welcome... the list of superlatives could be continued. A big thank you to Guiglielmo, Rychard and Mary, grazie mille! We certainly hope to return soon!

Positive: We had an incredible but short stay at Corrib lodge, the owner knows how to host! Our room was incredible - highly recommend booking the suite for your stay.

Summary: Our favorite stay during our trip to Ireland - wish we could have spent more time here.

Positive: It was a magical stay! The setting was unbeatable! So relaxing and tranquil! Everything was seamless! The lounge was super cozy at night with a fireplace, comfy seating, games, beverages, etc... Breakfast every morning was incredible and an amazing way to start the day! William is wonderful! We didn't have the chance to have his Italian cooking for dinner during our stay, but I'd guess it is incredible! 100% recommend this place!

Positive: The owner-chef of this beautiful establishment has gone above and beyond to create a comfortable space for relaxing in peace and quiet. The rooms are tastefully decorated, spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food is fresh and skillfully prepared; breakfast is available every morning but dinner is by reservation. A variety of tailored activities are available if you request to make arrangements in advance. The owner is a lover of nature, skilled at fishing and hunting, and relies on the bounty of the land for his culinary presentations. We stayed only two nights and that was not enough to fully explore and enjoy this property and the locality. We ate dinner at Corrib Lodge the first night as it made it easy to not have to plan beyond our initial arrival. We shared a nightcap with the owner and several other guests in the large gathering room. We were comfortable enough on the plush seating that we enjoyed each other's company and conversation until the wee hours. It's things like these that set apart this special inn and the owner.

Negative: We would lengthen our stay for 3 or 4 nights instead of 2. We would come prepared to swim in the lake and relax in the sauna. We would avail ourselves of a boat tour.
