Positive: Such a great location, I really didn't expect that the Train Station guesthouse was still "alive"... but this made the whole thing so charming! We loved it! Mariana and André are AMAZING hosts with good hints (restaurant and visits)... for us it was a positive surprise and a hidden gem! Thank you to the host.

Positive: A cozy and authentic guest house above an active train station, but with a very good sound insulation. Great location if you want to avoid the hassle of Portu, but still want an easy and comfortable transfer to the city and back. You will be hard-pressed to find more lovely and hospitabls hosts than Mariana and Andrè!! The included breakfast was excellent!

Negative: If you are a light sleeper, it's best to have sound cancelling earplugs at hand, just in case.

Negative: Not so much a dislike but be aware restaurants are quite a walk away and taxis after 5pm are non existent

Positive: I'm interested in railways, so I definitely enjoy the stay here. For normal people the environment would be a bit noisy :) Owners are fine and helpfull.

Positive: The whole experience was stellar. Beautiful guesthouse with a nice room. The most wonderful hosts made sure everything you needed was taken care of. A super healthy and delicious breakfast. Stay here as you won't be disappointed.

Positive: Beautifully decorated by a lovely couple who were so helpful. We loved being right on the railway. The breakfast was so tasty and generous and there was a living room where you could relax and watch TV in the evening or listen to music. We only stayed one night as we were passing through but the place was perfect for that and very clean. We didn’t explore the area as it was raining so I cannot comment on what there is to do in the area. We would stay again.
