Positive: I had stayed there 10 years ago and nothing had changed. Room was spacious and I love the location with shopping center, restaurants and grocery stores across the street. We did not use pool but looked nice. Also great to be near beach with nice bay views.

Negative: Could use a deep clean and new carpets.

Positive: What I like about the property is the staff is very friendly. It’s close to services. I can see the bay right there. There’s a store close by and restaurants when I get off work which is early in the morning I go there and breakfast is ready so I have a bite to eat before I sleep I booked through booking.com and one time the room was not ready so they put me in a suite with multiple beds and a nice living area in the kitchen so now I plan to take my family down there because there’s lots to do in Alameda

Positive: We love the location. It is close to shopping and to the bayfront. The rooms with the lagoon view are great, especially the ones with the small deck. I watched the birds and fish for hours.

Negative: These suites have experienced hundreds of visitors over the last 40 years or so. As a result there is a lot of wear and tear visible in and out of the rooms. There has been repair work done in areas but some of it is amateurish. For example, in room 162, the bedroom tv has a broken screen. The living room screen has a damaged coax cable. There is mold on the bedroom window sill and in the bath tub area. There are poorly repaired holes in the drywall. Etcetera, etc. We love this place and its location and it’s a shame where it’s heading. We hope you get better soon Coral Reef Inn and Suites! With a little TLC you can recover and be what you once were! Good Luck!
