Positive: Mohammed was really kind. He offered me a better room for free because the other room didn't have air condition at the moment. He was really helpful. It was not so expensive and it was clean and nice.

Positive: Perfect place for solo travellers. Service was excellent, Mohamed is a very generous and great man. The beaches on the island and surrounding islands are stunning. Maldivian culture was great to experience. Excellent all round.

Negative: The owner David was offended at me because I booked a room through the Booking for 40% less than the price he told me. They provide bikes to customers for free, but they gave me a bike with a broken pedal and hid the good ones and said they were only for rent. I said that I’ll survive without bike but next day they gave me normal one and towels and brought a fridge as apologies. It was funny. Why it’s so difficult to provide good service for everyone independence how much you pay ? ( You should come with your own towel because the price for rent 5$ per day but you can buy towel in a market in 50 meters for 8$ ) No cleaning, I was living 5 days in a dirty room with strange smell and few dead cockroaches under the bed. The whole “hotel” area was under construction but it was quiet. If you rent a bed in dorm automatically you are poor for them and no one cares about you as mentioned above in the comment. Anyway, thanks Sama, she tried to help somehow.

Positive: An absolutely amazing experience! Goidhoo is quite a remote island and it's not very popular among tourists, so it's perfect if you want to experience the Maldivian culture and hospitality, as well as to observe the nature. The Coral Castle is located right in the center of the village and very close to the beach. The staff are very friendly and have kindly accommodated all my requests. They helped me to arrange snorkeling trips and transfer back to Male by a supply boat. I stayed in a dorm room, but I was alone there throughout my stay. My room was clean, comfortable and air-conditioned. I would recommend Coral Castle and Goidhoo island to everyone who wants to have a quiet holiday and to interact with the local community.

Positive: The food is excellent. We had our three meals in the hotel and we loved it. From day one we told Mohammad and Ahmad that we would like to try local cuisine and God that was a wise decision, because every day for 8 days we were amazed with the plates and dishes that were prepared for us. The hotel is located in the heart of the village, everything is withing a walking distance (bakery, shop, cafe-shop, harbor, restaurant, beach). The room had a huge bed (by all standards). Mohammad and Ahmad are good hosts, nothing was too hard for them to do/fix/arrange it for us. I highly recommend the place and would definitely come back to visit Goidhoo in a near future because this island is really worth every single minute of my trip.

Negative: There was nothing I could complain about it

Summary: If you would like to embrase the sperit of islander then this is the place to be.
