Positive: The photos don't do this little peace of heaven justice. The cabin was beautifully decorated with luxury bedding and a great shower. It was warm and cosy, the heater and electric blankets were a bonus.The veranda is perfect for bird watching and soaking up the atmosphere. It is so peaceful, we used the canoe which was fun and did the lovely walk around the dam. A perfect getaway.

Positive: We had an excellent stay at Copperleigh Trout Cottage. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. It was so quiet and peaceful — the perfect place to rest and unwind. We especially loved the wood-fired hot tub and the indoor fireplace, which created such a cozy atmosphere. The fishing was a bit tough during our stay, possibly due to the weather, but we still enjoyed the experience. If I could suggest one thing, it would be a bit more fishing advice for guests. Overall, I wouldn’t change a thing about the stay and would definitely recommend it!

Positive: Loved the cottage. Great decor, facilities and comfortable bedding. Amazing view and really lovely to see the sheep in the morning, setting off for a day's grazing. It's a beautiful setting. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return next year. Ashley was helpful and quick to respond to any issues.
Negative: Nothing, not really. Just a couple of small issues: It was a really cold evening for our first night's stay. Obviously beyond the owners control, but it was still chilly in the cottage, even with the log burner and the blankets from the beds. There was a draft coming from the windows which could be solved by thicker drapes and a heavy door curtain. Though I imagine additional heating would also be needed in the winter. It would have been nice to have heaters in all the bedrooms, just to take the chill off the room. There are electric blankets, but I'm not a fan.
