The self contained cottage is totally solar and is 1/2 km from the road it is very private, set on 130 acres onl 7 kms from town.The cottage sleeps up to 4 people. The house has 2 bed rooms 1 with queen bed the other with double bed.
It is a very quaint cottage with wood heater slow combustion stove plus all modern cooking facilities. There is a washing machine with soap powder provided. There is an under cover outside area with a BBQ and fire place a great spot to sit and watch the stars. .Enjoy a bush walk or watch the birds and wildlife No smoking indoors but outdoor area is adequate. Indoor pet's at owner's discretion .

Summary: For once the online description really does not do justice to this wonderful cottage. Set in acres of beautiful bushland, the cottage is fantastically laid out and probably the best equipped we have ever visited. The inside is immaculate with 2 very comfortable bedrooms and a fantastic kitchen/diner/ living room. But the outside is even better. A fully fenced large garden, so no worries about your dog! Also a brilliant BBQ hut with a firepit just outside it. With the skies and stars that you see up in the Warrambungles, why would you spend your evenings inside? We certainly didn't! Wonderful location, remote but close to all amenities and the Warrumbungles National Park. The hosts are super helpful, everything worked perfectly and was really easy, plus it was great value for money. We absolutely loved Coona Mudbrick Cottage and will definitely be back!

Summary: Fabulous cottage and great location just outside of town. Lovely garden to do star gazing from. Barbecue facility is excellent. All other aspects of the cottage provide you with what you want. Highly recommended.

Summary: My 2 adult children and myself spent 3 nights in this awesome accommodation. Both the inside and grounds were immaculately maintained to the highest level and everything you could ever need and more was provided for your use. We had such a great time we will be back and are telling all our friends.

Summary: If you are looking for a rural ‘hide away spot’ close to town with all the comforts, this is it! The cottage is set in a beautiful garden within a 130 acre property running sheep ( with lams😃) so privacy is guaranteed. We liked that the cottage is completely solar powered. Milk and chocolate biscuits in the fridge, condiments etc in the cupboard and washing powder for the washing machine. Anne and Allan have made sure you feel at home in their cottage and make you don’t want to leave at the end of your stay. It is literally 5 minutes from town and only half an hour from the beautiful Warrambungle NP. We will definitely book again when we are back in the area
