Positive: Location was perfect for us. We were able to ride our bikes or walk to everything we wanted to see.

Negative: A freezer would have been nice. Host gave us ice when we asked so very minor issue.

Positive: Fabulous location within walking distance to the beach and Main street. The location, the great light with all the big windows and the ROOF!

Negative: We would have preferred to be able to do minimal cooking in the studio itself, but the roof has that option and is very nice!

Positive: Very modern apartment, nicely furnished, the host was very friendly and helpful. Possibility to do laundry (+ drier!), and street parking available (parking permit provided by the host). Great all-round experience. Would recommend very highly, suitable for a couple or if single.

Negative: Nothing major, the apartment is close to the Santa Monica beach, but it is still a ca. 20-25 minute walk, so not around the corner. Too far to walk to the SM Pier, but public transport available around the corner ("Big Blue Bus") if needed.
