Summary: The room was lovely, the noise from the bedroom above was dreadful. We did call reception an it appears nothing was done as the noise continued, it sound like someone was dragging furniture around when we were in the hotel, we actually thought it must be a storage room, we could here loud banging on the floor it appears there were children above an they were constantly jumping off the bed as well as what sounded like chairs being dragged around the room. This woke us up very early the next morning, felt reception staff could have dealt with the noise better than they did.

Summary: Fantastic old hotel right in the center of the tourist area. Very convenient to the train station. Room was clean and functional. All staff we dealt with were professional, friendly and helpful. Room had daily housekeeping and was stocked with water and goodies. Breakfast was very good. One of the best stays on our trip.

Summary: The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. It was very warm in the room. But, my biggest concern was that our bathroom window was on the fire scape and did not close or latch. Someone could have walked right into the room.
