Positive: We absolutely loved our stay-Ronnie was a wonderful host and we were so happy to meet him and spend time in his beautiful B&B! Delicious breakfast and we so appreciated Ronnie’s flexibility as our plans evolved.

Negative: We loved it all!! Especially the proximity to the train!

Positive: This was a B&B where you felt like an invited guest rather than one who’d paid. Oakhurst is beautifully decorated and we got to enjoy the delicious breakfast Ronnie cooked each morning in the lovely conservatory overlooking the water. Ronnie was exceptionally hospitable and gave us some great tips about what to see and do in the area. For us, getting a bit of doggy time with George and Teddy was also a bonus. Faultless, really.

Positive: We loved everything about our stay from the facilities, very large bedroom, great comfortable lounge area and the beautiful sun room where our our delious breakfast was served. Our hosts were delightful, easy to talk to and fun. We were greeted by Ronnie who I must say is the best host that we have ever met in our extensive travels. Would give it a 11 rating if we could.

Negative: Nothing not to like. Beautiful large home.

Positive: Ronnie met us at the door with a warm welcome and invited us into his and Armans home and what a grand home it is. He showed us the downstairs,the sitting room and the breakfast area and then to our delight introduced us to George and Teddy, father and son golden doodles which really tickled us both as we were already missing our pup at home. He showed us to our booked room then gave us the choice of a bigger beautiful room with a wonderful waterfront view. Breakfast is made to order each morning and is top notch! He had day trip suggestions that were spot on and we enjoyed them. In the evenings he had dining recommendations that were wonderful even offering to take us to and fro in case we wanted to have an extra cocktail. We were so wowed by Ronnie and Arman that we both just can’t say enough. The last evening was the most special surprise of all as they invited us to dine with them and enjoy a wonderful meal especially prepared by Ronnie while Arman picked out some wines to accompany the wonderful meal.We visited for almost 4 hours.It was a truly memorable end to a wonderful stay. We can’t recommend Oakhurst Guesthouse enough! Thanks Ronnie and Arman. We will never forget our stay with the two of you!
