Positive: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nicolas and Thierry’s home, full of character and history. Visiting family in the region, we found the location ideal ... but what truly made this stay exceptional was the warm and generous hospitality we received. From the moment we arrived, Nicolas and Thierry went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They patiently helped us improve our French during our short two-night stay, served delicious home-cooked meals — often featuring fruit and vegetables from their garden — and introduced us to their delightful menagerie of animals on the property and at the neighbouring stables. The swimming pool was a welcome treat on a warm evening, and the whole experience captured the relaxed spirit of life in the south of France that Nicolas so enthusiastically describes. One small point: we weren’t entirely sure if the room configuration we received matched the description on Booking.com. However, the two rooms provided for two adults and our 15-year-old child worked very well for us, and we felt comfortable and well cared for throughout our stay. This is a truly special place, and we would return without hesitation.

Positive: The ambience was superb. The food and wine and service was like what you get flying first class. The pool area was lovely and felt home from home. Nicholas and Thierry were such amazing hosts. Nicholas was so funny and his English is excellent, plus he speaks German too. The scenery is amazing and surrounded by horses in the fields nearby. The grounds of the house are beautiful and the pool area is a wonderful place to relax. I would love to stay here again and a definite must do on your way to or back from the South. Such good value and a wonderful French experience.
