If you are looking for a cozy, private retreat to lay your head after a day of enjoying the abundance the Kenai Peninsula has to offer, this is it. Our tastefully decorated "Alaskan" home is less than 1/2 mile from the Kenai River, close to the Funny River Campground (that boasts some of the best fishing holes) and near a public boat launch. If you love golf, get in a round at the nearby Bird Homestead course. We are only 14 short miles from town and the drive up is incredible with mountain views and lots of opportunities to see Moose. Enjoy all the amenities this home has to offer, including a fully stocked kitchen for those home cooked meals. The oven has a built-in air fryer, along with a deep fryer and gas BBQ to cook up your daily catch! Enjoy the long summer nights and smores next to the solo stove. The home sits on 1 acre and has a separate tiny house and shop that is periodically occupied by the out-of-state owners.

Summary: Perfect for us and our two teenage daughters. Not much if you want to sit outside and enjoy a view, but we were on the go a lot. Also made use of the fish cleaning station. A Great Alaskan experience!

Summary: Very clean, had everything we needed, Close enough to town, but yet you were out where you could see all the moose and wildlife, beautiful place to stay!! We brought our grandchildren ages, three and five and our daughter and son-in-law. It was a wonderful trip.
