Positive: Good Location Good equipment in the kitchen

Negative: Bad communication with landlord. We addressed our problems and they were ignored. Not very clean (old hair in the bathroom, bad smell in the whole apartment and in the building, even a cockroach that we saw) Very uncomfortable sleeping sofa that bends when you want to sleep on it. Not made for tall people

Positive: Great location in China Town / Down Yown Manhattan. Communication with the host was outstanding! Really made me feel at home and supported in unfamiliar area. Super friendly and helpful with great knowledge of the local area and great NYC area. Host went above and beyond to ensure I was looked after and comfortable in the apartment. The apartment itself look at though it had been recently renovated. Everything was clean neat functional and well organized. there were a few helpful notes around the place without being over the top. The apartment was very homely, I felt comfortable and safe immediately. Neighbours were friendly and would say "hi" whenever we crossed paths.

Negative: Not much I didn't like. Was taken back at first entry to the common areas of the apartment building, due to the age and overall condition, but later come to learn that this is just NYC as it is such a historical city with buildings that have stood in place for many generations. As the time went on I came to appreciate the charm of the building for how it was. I was pleasantly surprised with the apartment itself.

Summary: Felt very much at home and deeply immersed in the local lifestyle. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Provide us care with every single details and always there when needed. The host went out of the way to make our stay 100 times more wonderful! 10/10 would recommend

Positive: Really practical and comfortable apartment located right near the Canal Street Subway station. The apartment is quiet and comfortable. No street noise which is a problem in some apartments. It was very clean inside the apartment and the bed and pillows are good. There is a dedicated workstation for working from home and the kitchen has everything you need so you can save a lot of money by preparing your breakfast and other meals at home. The neighborhood is vibrant with a ton of great restaurants and cafes. This is a great option if you are staying for a few nights in NYC.

Positive: The apartment in overall is pretty fine, with comfortable facilities, more than enough for a couple looking after to enjoy NY instead of staying put in the apartment.

Negative: Chinatown works just fine as a checkpoint, close to metro stations and to a handful of touristic spots. Despite that, the very narrow stairs levels are not that enjoyable for those carrying luggages or with movement limitations.
