Summary: What a great place! Was greeted by a nice young man that told me everything I needed to know, plus where to eat! Bed was so comfy, pillows were “just right” and the room perfect. The night worker was polite at 5:45am and it was great to have the coffee, cream and sweetener readily available on our departure! Highly recommend this hotel if you are in this town.

Summary: While the staff at this hotel go above and beyond the condition of our room was far from excellent. The dusting had bin done on the fly, the floors had been swept but dirt in the corners, the tub and floor had hair on or in them and there was a dirty towel hanging on the back of bathroom door. The reason I did not complain at the time is on checking in they told me there were no more rooms on the bottom floor and we always like to see our truck and keep an eye on it as we are travelling across Canada and the truck is always loaded. We always enjoy this hotel but this time if left a bad feeling. Whether we stay there again will be seen. But at the moment we are having doubts. Don't get us wrong the staff on the front desk are always willing to accomdate.

Summary: There were mattresses standing up in the hallway, bathroom had hair all over floor and in shower, air conditioner didn't work well, cleaning supplies all around ice machine. Not very impressive

Summary: I’ve never before complained about a hotel stay but feel like I need to say something this time. We have stayed at this property a few times before as it is on our way to/from Thunder Bay from our home in Eastern Ontario. We have never had a negative thing to say but now the hotel is looking very old. The carpet and couch in our room were very dirty looking and the room smelled a bit mildew like (almost like a wet dog smell). There was some sort of dirty filter from the air conditioner propped up in the corner next to it and the couch. There was also hair all over the bathroom floor. The bed and linens were all very clean looking and the staff were very friendly. But I think we will look at staying elsewhere next time until some updates are done.

Summary: The room was clean, not spotless. There was a thick layer of dust and hair on the baseboards and the carpet in the hall needed a vacuum badly. The beds were not very comfortable but I have a bad back. That being said, the staff were excellent, the breakfast was good , and the room was nice

Summary: The building is aged, but the staff cleans the amenities really well. Rooms have an old smell to them. Carpets need to be replaced. Good price to value ratio
