Summary: We’ve stayed here twice. The first time was better than the second but I think it depends what room you get. I love the old school feel of the hotel and it’s a small place so the workers at the desk treat all the guests like family. The outside area isn’t too bad for walking your dog but don’t expect to go far on foot because the road is too busy. The bed is comfortable and the rooms are cozy. My only complaint is the plumbing. There is a terrible odor that comes out of the shower and the sink when you run it and it’s concerning. I think they might need to clean the pipes or something. I initially thought it was just the room I was in but after the second stay, it was worse so now I’m thinking there’s a problem. Hopefully they get it fixed because I would love to stay again!

Summary: This is a quaint mainstay of the Jersey shore area, located inland in what used to be horse country. The staff was very nice, the room pretty nice (showing its age a bit), and the grounds were welcoming. They feed a couple of feral cats at the front of the inn, so you may see them during your visit. All things being equal, if you want a place that has historic charm, the Colts Neck Inn is a good choice.

Summary: Lovely happy staff. Very clean rooms. Comfy beds with crisp white sheets. Breakfast is plentiful with fresh bagels. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: So warm and welcoming! Very friendly staff, multiple people around to help. My bathroom had an issue and I was moved immediately to another room, very accommodating. Multiple great spaces to enjoy time visiting with a friend.

Summary: Super cute hotel with extremely kind and friendly staff! Beautiful property and room. My only issue is some privacy concerns as our room door was right in the lobby, we could hear people talking out there so we blocked the door crack with a blanket. When we woke up the blanket was moved as if someone had entered the room while we were asleep? Love the vibe of this place but it was a bit uncomfortable if you are looking for a private getaway...
