Positive: We only had the free continental breakfast which was fine. The room was spacious & warm.

Negative: Wifi was not working, you couldn't log onto it, and the hot tab was not working in the bathroom.

Summary: Very cozy B&B, was what we required at the time of booking. Clean & good comfy beds.

Positive: The room and house were spotless, lovely location and very quiet. Views were pretty amazing. The location is excellent for Thatcham and Newbury, you don't feel like you are so close to civilisation as it was so quiet. Very nice couple who own the house.

Negative: Shared bathroom for the price (but it was bank holiday week so understandably more money) and I ordered breakfast but the hosts got up late so I had to skip it to get to work. Breakfast is extra and not included in the price so I didn't lose out any money.

Summary: Lovley location, quiet and peaceful. Great views.

Positive: Rural retreat with character. Comfortable twin bedded room made us feel welcome as awful weather outside. Breakfast - excellent in a grand dining room.

Negative: We were the only guests so have no dislikes. However if the accommodation was full would one bathroom / toilet be sufficient? No plug for hand basin but I did not ask for one. Just an observation

Summary: Loved the fact that we could discuss our breakfast menu, courteous care at all times
