Summary: The room was very clean. Two bed and a sitting area and a table and chairs. Room also had refrigerator and a microwave. The set up was fabulous. The cafe served delicious treats and beverages. Thank you!

Summary: The room was spacious & clean. Great location in order to shop and eat in the village. Staff at the check in desk/cafe were super friendly & helpful. The Barn room was nice because it was at the outskirts of the village giving a little privacy.

Summary: Initial pictures posted of room was deceiving, pertaining to the tub . This is not avaliable in all rooms. Recommend calling to book room and not book on line. Other than that it was 👍. Comfortable

Summary: From the moment we walked through the door, we were enchanted! With colonial music softly playing as we checked in, offered tea/coffee and handed assorted warm shortbread cookies, we knew we were right where we belonged. The staff was lovely, smiling and genuine. Our room was actually a small cottage filled with antique furniture and decor…it was like stepping into the 18th century! We were very comfortable in the bed, the pillows were comfortable, and we can’t wait for our next visit to the area!

Summary: We've stayed at The Colonial Inn several times in the past. It is always a very pleasurable experience. There are multiple food options,either within walking distance or a shirt drive away. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, always! The shopping in the surrounding village is wonderful and varied. You feel like you can slow down and have a relaxing time while staying there. We stayed in room 204 and our bed was very comfortable, which is important to me, with a finicky back. I feel like the outer bed linens could be cleaner tho. I'm not sure that they were changed before our stay, so we just peeled them back. We asked for and received daily cleaning service in the room, which is something you can't get at a hotel chain these days. Service there(from Angel) was excellent. We keep going back because it's an enjoyable experience staying there, and all tourist points, up and down the Jersey shore line are very accessible via nearby highways. You'll enjoy your stay there, I'm sure.
