Positive: Very nice! Room could have been just a little bit bigger. But it was very nice otherwise.

Negative: The door almost hit the bed. It was just a little snug. But we were only there to sleep so it wasn't that bad.

Positive: This hotel was as much an experience as it was a place to stay. The service from all of the staff was excellent. I did not expect there to be as many amenities as there were! Plenty of comfortable seating in the courtyard, poolside bar and food service were a great touch. Coffee and tea in the lobby added value to our stay. Our room was nice, the bathtub was huge; hot water was hot! Booked our next stay here before we checked out!

Positive: I had a great stay at the Colonial Hotel in Grand Bend! The location is perfect, right at the main intersection and just a short walk to the beach. The hotel looks great inside and out, and everything was very clean. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Positive: Gorgeous pool and courtyard grounds. Extremely comfortable stay and delicious coffee. Love the fire pits at night and early morning.

Negative: Wish it was a little more affordable.

Positive: My wife and I have stayed at Colonial Hotel many times in the past and each and every time, we are very pleased! Never disapointed! Great staff, emenities, rooms and overall facility is very clean, modern with high quality features, furniture and appointments. Already planning another stay in October 2025!

Negative: Really not much to not like! The experience is great overall! A few "would be nice"... -A couple of extra fire pits would be nice, as there are only two -It's great that they give guests free parking during their stay, which is very much appreciated!, on checkout day, checkout is 11:00am, and free parking ends at noon. Parking is fairly expensive at $10.00 hr. Perhaps consider a discounted rate for guests on their last day? It'd be nice to pack the car and spend your last day exploring downtown, maybe visit the beach etc. before heading home without paying so much to park? We checked out on Monday and the parking lot was only 15%-20% capacity. Just a thought! Otherwise great place to stay!

Summary: We had a great time! Enjoyed the new pool with poolside service!
