The Colonial Charm Inn Bed and Breakfast has been in service since 1995, and serves a full breakfast every morning. Positive: The building is old but gold. The floors squeaks, but that’s part of the charm of vintage structures. I’m giving it an almost perfect score because of the story behind the new owners—the two girls who’ve been running the inn since June 2025. They’re exhausted every day, yet they keep going. Kudos to their parents for their training. Breakfast was nice, and the service made us feel at home. The location was perfect for us. The room was small, but we only needed a place to sleep and my husband and I love trying old hotels or colonial homes converted into inns—it was fun.

Positive: The location was great, the hosts were very welcoming and accomodating. The room and the bathroom were clean. We had half a day before our flight and our hosts kept our luggage for us while we visited the city before our flight, even after checking out.

Positive: Colonial Charm Inn is a 100 year + Inn, in the heart of Charlottetown. Carefully restored without losing its old world charm,the rooms are great. Sydney who owns the property and her sister were great hosts. The breakfast especially the spinach and cheese omelette and freshly baked biscuits were delicious.

Negative: Liked everything about this beautiful Inn. Possibly providing 2 glasses in the room would have been nice.

Negative: Breakfast needs a rethink. A continental buffet would be easier for guests. Would like to be able to make cup of tea during day.

Positive: Breakfast was fine. Service good. The dining room is very small, tables too close together Close to city center - good. Room very small. Mattress good, though it squeaks. Sydney seems sincere and willing to work at this project. Thanks to Ciarra (?) for the tour.

Negative: Unfortunately, the age of the house works against you. It seems crowded everywhere - if the owners could remove some of the old furniture, that would help. The public spaces - stairway and ground floor, also the second floor hallway, had the smell of food.

Summary: Staff was plDue to shortage of space, and the'oldness' of the house, I did not entirely relax there.

Positive: The owners are new and worked hard to make sure our stay was exceptional. Room was very large and comfortable. Friendly visits with other guests.

Negative: A bit more variety in the breakfast would be nice.
