Positive: The staff is good, polite, informative and helpful. No doubt about the staff. I have no complaints about the staff. They allowed me smooth check-in, check-out, provided water etc, guided me to nearby places, eateries and other stuff. The location is also close to the airport and equally close to the hubs like ISBT-43, Industrial Park Phase-1 etc. The hotel is in Galli No. 3, for a first timer or in the night, it might be a bit difficult to reach there exactly as the signboards or even the property name as in on the Booking.com website is not there. The AC was also working fine in my room. Let me talk about the property: Its an old property, clearly evident. Given the price they offer the room, this is acceptable. Cleanliness in the rooms is something one should rightfully demand at any such place. The room I stayed in for two night was a bit dusty, the tables around the bed were also a bit dusty. Secondly, the bedsheets, blankets were definitely not washed or not washed properly. I couldn't use the blanket because it was smelling pungent. This is something a customer should get by default. Another major issue I faced. The main door of the room I was offered was not locking. I slept two nights in there with the door open, just pushed close but no lock. For two days when I went outside for my work during the day also the door was open. Since I didn't have any luggage with me or items to be kept safely, it was okay. But if I was having a few items to be kept back in the hotel during my work outside, it would have been absolutely inconvenient if such un-lockable doors were there. Maybe they gave me such a room because I was travelling solo. Rest of the facilities, like the AC, Fan, lights, water availability, bathroom, exhaust fan etc were all in working acceptable condition, no complaints about those. There was no noise during my stay there, even though my door was open always ;) Peaceful stay, must admit. Had I not faced above issue, I'd rate them high!
