Positive: The only way to feel at home on a holiday is to stay in a home. That’s just what this is: the host’s summer house. It’s fully equipped and decorated and feels like being in your own holiday home. We loved the view of the mountains and canyon (photo from a hill just behind the house), being woken by roosters in the neighbourhood and the basket swing that our daughter loved. You can walk easily to Sanahin Monastery and it’s within easy striking distance of Haghpat, Aktala, Odzun and other very, very old churches and monasteries.

Positive: This is an extraordinary atmospheric guesthouse with incredible views of the rugged mountains to the North . It is well situated on a quiet lane between shops , walking distance away on one side and the monastery on the other . It is an absolute must for all those seeking the quintessential Armenian way of life .

Positive: Really cute property in Alaverdi. We were the only ones there so had the whole place to ourselves. It was a great place to relax and unwind! The owner was so friendly and helpful, plus there’s a great walk nearby from monastery to monastery.

Positive: The owner is quite hospitable and proficency in English. She proactively contacts me, drive her car to pick us up, explain every details of the facility. The room is not luxury but big and cozy with everything you need. If you want to visit Sanahin Monstary, this is the best choice as it is only 400 meters away. The price is relatively higher given is standard and location.

Positive: Only 5 mins walking distance from Sanahin Monastery, good position on the hill with nice view from windows of kitchen and dining room, very clean and comfortable house with 2 big rooms, 2 toilets, kitchen and balcony of rich space. Owner is a beautiful Armenian girl with lovely smile who can also speaks Russian, French and English. French is very fluency. Willing to comunicate and help with taxi booking. Meals not included in room fee but price is reasonable. She cooks with home grown ingredient, clean, delicious and healthy. Unique and unforgettable experience in life.

Negative: It is pity that we couldn't stay longer due to our schedule.
