Positive: The space was great for our family - we had 7 adults and 3 small children.

Negative: The pool was a little warm - not sure if the heater was on or just because it was so hot (we were there during a heat advisory all week)

Negative: The house seemed old . Smelled like fish .Not much room to sit by the pool. Shutters on the windows old , broken and dusty . The windows don't stay open . If you can even open them . They were dirty . Layout of the house is weird . Like rooms were just added on . Tv too small in living room .

Summary: The location is good . Typical rent house . I give it 3 star for what I paid to rent it .

Positive: The accommodation was in a quiet, safe residential area, 250 metres from the beach. The house was perfectly adequate for our group of six adults and two children. The air conditioning worked well and the pool was heated to 85 degrees F, although the heating switched off on our second last day. There is an extra charge of $35/day for heating the pool.

Negative: The house was selected because of its close proximity to Clearwater Beach, regarded as one of the finest in the USA. Unfortunately, we could not use the beach for the first four days of our six day stay, because of a Red Tide event, which was unknown to us and not flagged up beforehand as a possibility. This event is an algae bloom, karenia brevis, which is toxic to fish and causes skin and eye irritation and breathing problems for humans, with the air having a sulphurous smell. Fortunately, the house was far enough away from the smell not to cause concern in the pool. The shoreline was littered with dead fish adding to the smell and we were surprised that it took the city authorities so long to clean the beach.

Summary: We had hoped for a beach holiday, but that was not possible, however the house and pool were nice.
