Summary: Had asked the owner Joan if we could book in two hours prior to the 4pm arrival time. This was agreed in writing with her. Rang the caretaker Ann aprox 30mins prior to our arrival. Our parents arrived aprox 10 mins before us, to be greeted with a rather rude response that we were two hours early and that it was a good job she had managed to clean everywhere. She would not accept the fact that we had arranged with the owner to arrive early. This all happened before we arrived, otherwise would have shown her our letter. Apart from that and the electricity going off in the games room one eve, we had a lovely stay. We booked both the farmhouse and the cottage, and they were beautiful. Nothing to do in the surrounding area, apart from walking. If you want supplies, take with you, as the nearest shop is about a 15 min drive.If you just want a bit of peace in a beautiful location then this is a dream spot. Both buildings were quaint and clean.

Summary: We arrived in the dark, with a minor issue in that the website directions only seemed to show a map (no written instructions). But after a phone call to Ann we found it straight away. There is a very handy, large entrance hall , where our two dog slept. Kitchen is well equipped. Everything very clean and tidy- well managed. The driveway is pot holed 'country farm track' so I would imagine anyone with a low car would struggle. There are some stunning walks from here and also from the coastal path- children had a brilliant time finding beach treasures and the waterfalls just inland near Cwm Tydu were magical. We had a great time and would love to return for longer next time to explore more. Thank you!

Summary: Fantastic cottage with plenty of space and everything we needed. We really enjoyed the games room too. Not so easy to walk out from the cottage, as the only real route out was the driveway and the small country roads, but once these had been walked down there was some lovely surrounding countryside. Just to note, the driveway is quite rough in places and overgrown. All in all though, we had a really nice stay in the cottage and would certainly recommend it.

Summary: The farmhouse was quiet and secluded. It had everything we needed. Our daughter loved the games room, even though the house had wifi, she was outside the whole time. Ann was very helpful and I would highly recommend this farmhouse

Summary: This house is beautiful in its design and decor, its views and its location. We fell in love with the interior on this site. It is however dissaponiting that the house is not always as well maintained as it should be. A good dust, hoover, window wash and a spell of garden maintenance would give this holiday home the shine it deserves. Please ensure bathrooms are cleaned to a suitable standard. Please take note that 2 non functioning showers is not a good feature in a house that shelters eight. We did have a good holiday but my holiday could have been better.
