Summary: We enjoyed a week in the cottage for October half term. The cottage was clean, well equipped and in a lovely area and our three children loved exploring the surrounding woods. I would definitely recommend and definitely re visit when we have the chance.

Summary: We enjoyed a fantastic short break in this beautiful cottage. A great setting and comfortable, warm place to have as our temporary home. Couldn't ask for more. We loved the acres of woodland for a back garden and our dogs, similarly enjoyed their stay with lots of good exploring on your doorstep. The cottage was warm, cosy and well set up with the right amount of amenities for our needs.

Summary: One of the most characterful cottages we've ever had the pleasure of staying in. Beautifully decorated, secluded, situated on the edge of a lovely woodland, with red squirrels in the surrounding trees. Good base for exploring Kielder, the Cheviots, and Hadrian's Wall.

Summary: Lovely cottage well presented, clean and had everything we needed for a great holiday with our 2 Golden Retrievers. Although the cottage was near to a busy A road no sound was heard inside. Lovely walk through the woods to the local pub serving good ale and food. A lively reading place to stay, would recommend highly.
