Summary: The accommodation was OK, a bit dated but they added some new touches inside. However, I booked the room because there was a photo over “select this room” with a cooker in it. However, when we arrived there wasn’t one; only a microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. We phoned reception from the supermarket to ask about that as it’s not easy being a vegetarian in Taihape. The receptionist said we had booked one of two rooms with no cooker in it. When my husband told her about the photo, she said the Expedia photo was out of date. She maintained we hadn’t booked a room with a cooker in it. It looks like they may have updated the photo on the site, but too late for us.

Summary: Very cosy, warm unit, and a comfortable bed and pillows. A bit of road noise but it didn't stop us sleeping. Shower okay but maybe needs some attention to the spray distribution

Summary: Easy friendly check in. Lovely clean room and good facilities. Road noise a problem, I came prepared with ear plugs and got a reasonable night's sleep. - almost needs triple glazing to help and a door that blocks out noise. Apart from that I have stayed here 2-3 times and always enjoyed my stay.
