Positive: The property is beautifully positioned on the edge of the escarpment, looking across the valley to the buildings and waters of the Gold Coast. There is a feeling of being in the clouds and connecting deeply with the birdlife and bushland of the surrounding area. Sunset and evening sky views are equally enjoyable. There is even a telescope available for a closer inspection of these delights. The whimsical garden landscaping and decoration in the Alice in Wonderland theme makes for a fun treasure hunt. I loved walking the labyrinth! The accommodation is comfortable and provided space for our group to spend time together or sneak some solitude both inside and out. The kitchen is well equipped and the provision of spices, sauces and condiments a bonus. My husband and I spent three nights at Could 9 with two other couples - one from USA and the other from South Australia. We were keen to impress them with the delights of living in South East Queensland, an aim that was totally fulfilled. The proximity to botanic gardens, rainforest walks, high quality eateries and arts and crafts galleries meant that we were very happily occupied. We are certainly keen to return!

Positive: Has beautiful views. Very quiet with the wildlife, making the stay very enjoyable.

Negative: Unfortunately, it is quite a distance away from the likes of St Bernard's Hotel & wedding venue. Taxis booked but cancelled as they have to come from down the bottom of the mountain. Require a designated driver to take/pick up from venues 2w
