The cabin is surrounded by the serene Crooked Creek Area and is about 10 miles from the scenic New River Trail, perfect for walking or biking adventures.
Fernwood Cabin boasts a brand new log structure, beautifully furnished with hardwood floors and adorned with exquisite oriental rugs in the living room and modern, fully stocked kitchen areas. As you enter, you'll find a cozy sofa and upholstered chair next to a stylish stacked stone electric fireplace that comes with a remote for your convenience. The kitchen features an antique reproduction table accompanied by four chairs, complemented by charming pine cabinets. A walnut three-drawer chest adds a touch of elegance to the space. The first-floor bedroom features a queen-size poster bed and a lovely ball-footed chest, all resting on a plush area rug. Summary: The property was in the middle of nowhere and that's just what we needed, some time to ourselves. We enjoyed waking up watching the deers every morning. Comfortable, cozy and clean ..the cabin is simply beautiful. The host was very easy to communicate with too. Summary: Lovely small cabin in secluded rural surroundings. Location is very convenient to Blue Ridge Parkway, New River bike trails, and many other outdoor activities for young and old. Cabin decor reflects the host's intent to create a cozy welcoming home feeling. The cabin and furnishings were clean and well cared for. Host provided excellent literature for things to do and directions to almost anywhere you would like to visit.
