Whether you are in town for The Gem Show, visiting the University of Arizona, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, golf, health spa, or a vacation to take it all in, Hacienda Gecko is close to everything and will be your launching pad to everything Tucson has to offer.
Situated in a quiet neighborhood in the hills above Tucson, Hacienda Gecko is located fifteen minutes from Downtown Tucson and U of A. Within twelve minutes you will find yourself at the J. W. Marriott golf and spa complex and only twenty-five minutes to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Tumamoc Hill, “A” Mountain, and The Loop are only minutes away as are numerous other adventures that are waiting for you to explore.
Hacienda Gecko offers plenty of space for everyone in your group. The house features four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The massive master bedroom has a king size bed and an en-suite, spa-like bathroom. Pamper yourself with a huge walk-in shower with dual shower heads and wands. Additionally, this space has two sinks and a walk-in closet. There is a smart TV with cable, a sitting area and a beehive fireplace there as well. Two more bedrooms, at the opposite end of the house, each have queen size beds with a nearby full bathroom with tub and shower. The fourth sleeping area has a queen size bed and a set of twin bunk beds bringing the total sleeping capacity in the house to ten. The fourth bedroom with twin beds has a smart TV with cable and a DVD Blue Ray player as well so it’s can also be an ideal hang out for kids and teens.
The kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, a gas range, a Keurig coffee system, and Quartz countertops, will accommodate all of your culinary needs. Enjoy having your meals together with everyone around the massive dining room table that seats ten.
The kitchen and dining area open up to a sunken living room. There’s room for everyone to visit or watch TV or movies here with a wraparound leather sectional and 80” smart TV with DVD/Blue Ray player.
There’s no doubt that the pool and hot tub area will also be a big hit. Much time is spent outdoors in Arizona and Hacienda Gecko has that covered in a big way. There are four loungers, a table that seats six under the Ramada, plus another cozy patio seating area. A gas grill is located there for your barbequing needs. The outdoor space has a resort-like feel. There is a view of the mountains and of the city lights from the secluded back yard. The space is nicely lit for evenings outdoors including string lights for that true southwest feel.
*Pool heating (set by the property owner at 88 degrees) is optional at $50 per day and will be added as a separate transaction after initial booking.
Rounding out the property is a three-car garage, a ping pong table for those spirited tournaments that seem to happen, and a small putting green in the front of the property.

Summary: Five college alumni spent an extended March weekend in Tucson staying at the “Hacienda Gecko”. It was sunny in the 70s and 80s so we enjoyed the heated swimming pool, spa, and outdoor amenities of this awesome VRBO. The inside was exceptional as well with 4 comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large living area with ample seating to watch some basketball games. Highly recommend this VRBO.

Summary: Property was accurately described. House was very clean and adequately supplied. Hot tub needed some chemical maintenance. Useable but lots of foam that began to leave scum line. Has a ping pong table but would Suggest having corn hole boards for some other entertainment that could be used outdoors by the pool. Overall satisfied with the property.

Summary: Our family loved the property. Everyone had their own space but we also were able to share time together in the large living room and outside. The pool and hot tub were clean and the pool was heated (which was a must for mid March). We would definitely want to stay again the next time we are in town.
