Positive: Lovely modern house. Extremely well equipped and fantastic private pool. Ideally located for visiting the local areas and Sarlat. Host was welcoming and responsive.

Negative: Was unaware the annex with the large seating and table was not accessible unless paying for dining. Thankfully host allowed us access due to the poor weather we unfortunately experienced when we were there.

Summary: Perfect house in a perfect location with a perfect pool. Would highly recommend and we will be returning

Positive: The property was absolutely beautiful, complete with everything you could possibly need for a family holiday. The attention to detail was amazing, from the local artwork to the wonderfully restored original pieces such as the doors and beams. The photos do not do it justice.

Negative: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Positive: We have just returned from a 2 weeks at Clos Lamzonie where we had a wonderful stay. We were very well looked after by our host who was on hand to sort any issues, suggest activities for us as well as cooking us a delicious meal in the newly renovated garden dinner room which was a real treat! The house was very spacious, comfortable and lovely and cool thanks to the air con. Everywhere was clean and very well equipped - usually on holiday I struggle with cooking as there isn't always everything I need but literally everything you could think you would need was there as well as store cupboard essentials. The pool was perfect and regularly cleaned. There was a cupboard full of leaflets and local information which was very useful as there is so much to do locally. I would not hesitate to book Clos Lamonzie again or recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much!

Negative: We didn't like having to leave! In all seriousness we loved everything but it's worth noting that although it is not far from town (15-20 minutes in the car) I did miss walking for bread in the morning or walking somewhere for an evening meal. I think there was an organic bakery open on some days which was a bit of a walk away but we just tried to stock up when we went into town instead. This obviously cannot be changed and the owners have obviously recognised this as the on site meal service was a great alternative to going out for a meal further away. There's also the local food event at the lake on Saturday nights which we didn't fit in but sounded like a good local activity and walkable - if only we had more time!

Summary: Incredible stay at a beautiful, well equipped house in a gorgeous location! Amazing!

Positive: This is a true gem in the Perigord Noir, close to Sarlat-La-Canéda (15 min by car). In a tiny village, behind a modest facade, lies a beautifully renovated property; you can see the owners are renovating with love and passion using feature items like a glass ceiling and phenomenal mix of modern and authentic items. The kitchen (modern and fully equipped) / living room (amazing sofa and ceiling, large table for dining) and the 2 bathrooms are breath-taking. You also have a beautiful outside porch (covered from rain and sun) and an amazing garden with a flower/plant area and heated infinity pool (our kids loved this - despite a few bad weather days it was very pleasant in the pool) and a covered area and jeux de boules pitch even :). The pool is bordered with purple lavendar which attracts amazing bees, butterflies etc... Highly recommend to watch a sunrise from the pool area... wow. The place was spotlessly clean and the rooms are spacious. Airconditioning in the bedrooms makes hot summer nights pleasant. One bedroom downstairs and 3 upstairs - all spacious and with storage space. The host (Olivier, over the phone) and the representative doing the change/cleaning (Justine?, was there when leaving) were very welcoming/communicative and have great attention to detail. Beds are very comfortable. Everything is available... Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, google chromecast, tons of glasses, cutlery, plates, cushions for the garden chairs, parasols, ....

Negative: Take note the master bedroom and living room are not soundproofed and obviously the wooden stairs and ceilings can make a bit of noise, but that has its charm in this setting :). To reach the master bedroom upstairs you need to walk through one bedroom.
